The annual get together at the PAF College Sargodha will be held on Saturday 7th April 2001. The Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir has consented to be the Chief Guest at the dinner at 8 p.m. Originally it was 31st March which is 6th of Moharram therefore the date had to be rescheduled.

The annual general meeting of the association and Sargodhians Spirit Trust will be held at the school auditorium or as per the commandant’s arrangement of the hall between 3:30 p.m to 4.30 p.m.

Members of the association, Trustees of the Sargodhian Spirit Trust, prefects of the school and teachers are requested to attend. This meeting is very important because a number of decisions are to be taken.

1. Air Commodore (R) Tassawar Elahi Piracha to present the progress report on SST/ITTI and also present the budget for the year 2001/2002 (April to April

2. To discuss Tando Allah Yar project of SST. Mr. Amanullah to give a presentation with the support of Karachi Chapter.

3. Selection of the name of the school at Tando Allah Yar

4. Air Commodore (R) Shabbir Hussain to give a 5 minutes talk and also inform about the seed money as initial payment for the project.

5. Fund raising methodology for the Tando Allah Yar Project.

6. Decision for Foundation stone laying ceremony i.e. date + month to be finalised.

TANDO ALLAH YAR PROJECT

You would be pleased to know that the Chairman of SST, on the basis of full consensus of the trustees, has agreed in principle to go ahead with the project and give a presentation before the AGM to obtain a final approval from all Sagodhians. It took almost ten months for such a decision on a positive note.

Sad News.

1. Air Commodore Javed Ahmed Khan (749T)was working as Pakistan Defence attache in U.K. On 25th December 2001,while fixing the T.V anteena fell of the roof and died. We have held two session to pray for the departed soul in Islamabad. Many of you might not be knowing. Please pray for his soul may rest in peace. Amin!. 2. Nasir Warriach (163 T) went through heart and brainn problem, expired last month. We must pray for the departed soul may rest in peace and give strength to the breaved family. Nasir had lost his 18 year old son last year in a car accident and now the family has lost him. If you wish to write to his wife, kindly noted email address:

Good News.

1. Muhammad Zafarullah Khan (35 – Attacker).
Zafarullah Bhai has just retired as the Federal Secretary Ministry of Water and Power. He is a good human being, very capable and a committed person. He had a spotless career which is rare in our county and Sargodhians are proud of him. We wish him good luck for the future.

2. Lt. Col. Qayum Malik (210 - Tempest).
Qayum also has fially retired from the Army. He also had a spotless career. We wish him a healthy life.

3. Brigadier Akram Khan (302 - Tempest),
Akram stands retired. He has done well in the Army and hopes to serve the country as a civilian.. Presently waiting to play his seconnd innings. Good luck.

4. Brigadier Humayun (224 - Tempest).
He retired two years back but then served WAPDA LAHORE and now stands retired. Looking for an opportunity to serve the country. Wish him good luck.

5. Lt. Gen. Ehsaul Haque.
He is now a three star general with effect from 23rd March 2001. He has follwed briskly Lt. Gen. Ahsan Salim Hayat who was promoted just a few months back. SARGODHIAS are proud of these two youg generals. Congratulations to both Ehsan and Ahsan.

Sargodhians have now produced four three star Generals. The two were Lt. General G.M.Malik (57-A) and Hamyun Bangash (102-S) who now stands retired.

Congratulations to all those who performed Haj.

Marketing.

A professional firm has developed an accounting package for small Traders or Small business Concern. The rights to market has been given to us on a 50% profit sharing basis. The price level is between Rs.15,000/- to Rs.20,000/-

In case you find a buyer, we would appreciate for the reference. The sales proceed could benefit the ITTI. This is one way to support and raise fund.

The ITTI is progressing well. The Comsats have provided us 35 students for Data Entry and 35 for Basic Computer Course plus PTCL has given us 12 students. These courses are for two months. We are running a year’s course of information Technology for Skill Development Council. There are six students in total. We are in need of corporate clients. Sargodhians holding such high positions can help us securing busines. We are grateful to ACM Farooq Feroze Khan introducing to us PTCL who have started giving us business by sending the first badge of 12 students.

Basit Hamid (435-T) is now recogized as an IT expert from USA is also operating in Islamabad. He and his wife visited our institue and appreciated the work being done. As a gesture he has decided to share the expenses by providing the ITTI Rs. 60,000/-thousand per month from his own pocket w.e.f. February. We have alreday received two instalments on behalf of the Association and SST. We would like to thank Basit & his wife Shehnaz for the kind gesture. God may strengthen their hands. Ameen.

English Language and Teacher Training Course

We need resource persons if you can identify do let us know at the earliest.
